Based in the Raleigh area, Kelly understands the North Carolina business landscape firsthand. She has worked with teams across the state's core industries, from Charlotte's banking corridors to the Research Triangle's biotech and tech ecosystem. That local knowledge shapes how she designs workshops. She knows the organizational dynamics, the competitive pressures, and the leadership challenges that North Carolina teams face, and she brings that context into every engagement.
Kelly developed the Whole Leader Model™ through Lead Distinctly, a framework that builds on Insights Discovery's foundation of self-awareness to develop the mindset, emotional intelligence, and behaviors of effective leadership. Her coaching philosophy centers on the belief that lasting change starts with understanding yourself clearly, then building the skills and habits to lead others with intention. Kelly's perfect day:
A perfect day starts with morning sun and warm tea. I love the quiet early hours when I can think clearly and set the tone for everything that follows. I'm big on health and fitness, and I put real energy into building sustainable habits that keep me sharp.
I'm also a serious home cook. I love exploring new cuisines, and most nights you'll find something unexpected coming together in my kitchen. When I get time away, I head for the NC mountains or the coast. There's something about cool mountain air or a warm ocean breeze that resets everything.
I'm happiest when I can be fully present with the people I care about, which is probably why I'm drawn to work that's about helping others connect more intentionally.
