As CEO of JOIFEL, she brings more than 25 years experience as an entrepreneur, executive coach, facilitator, and former agency founder who spent two decades building and leading a business of her own. A Founder's Lens on Leadership
Christa brings a founder and operator to every engagement. From 2001 until its acquisition in 2024, she founded and led Launch Marketing, a boutique marketing firm helping B2B technology companies launch and grow. Under her leadership, Launch to worked with more than 250 companies on go-to-market strategy, messaging, demand generation, and sales and marketing alignment. Launch was recognized as one of the Austin Business Journal's Best Places to Work multiple times, and Christa was named a finalist for Profiles in Power (Central Texas Women of Influence) in 2021 and won the Women's Way Business Award in the Professional Services category in 2019.
Hands on Experience with Insights®
Christa is a licensed Insights® Discovery practitioner and has used the framework for more than 20 years. She first implemented Insights® within her own company, where it became an important tool for communication, leadership development, team collaboration, and client engagement. Today, she uses Insights® to help leaders and teams understand their natural preferences, adapt their communication, and work more effectively together.
Community Involvement
Based in Austin, TX, Christa is an active member of the Women's President's Organization (WPO) and the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) in Austin, and she serves on EO's US Central Region Council as the Marketing & Parnerships Director.
Christa's perfect day:
My perfect day starts early at the barn, riding my horse Hans in the Texas Hill Country or taking a jump lesson with my trainer. From there, I'd head home and either spend the afternoon with my family exploring Austin, catching up with friends, relaxing around the house, planning the next travel adventure, simply settling in with a good book.
The evening would bring everyone back together. My husband is a fabulous cook, so a great family meal is always a highlight with a really good glass of Napa Cabernet, ideally followed by a game night or movie. For me, a perfect day is a balance of the things I value most: time outdoors, family and friends, a little adventure, and plenty of space to simply enjoy being together.
